After the report to the head of the state and a few days before the release of statistics, the Prime Minister said : «According to the data for September, the average salary in the country will reach the level of about 1000 rubles, and won’t fall below in  the future » However  the nominal salary decreased by 24 rubles in September, and the Council of Ministers held a meeting the day after the release of statistical data. The ministries were warned and reminded  that the target for the average salary is a priority for all public authorities. They asked to carry out an in-depth analysis of the reasons for returning to the dynamics of wage growth, which will be the subject of consideration at a meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers. In fact, the decline in nominal wages can be explained very simply. It was due to the seasonal factor. If we exclude seasonality, the growth of both nominal and real wages continued in September.
